parent/teen group

navigating Nourishment and Positive Body Image
If you're a teen or parent of a teen navigating the challenges of developing a healthy relationship with food and body image, you’re not alone. At CEDAR Health, we understand that adolescence can be a difficult time when it comes to food, body image, and self-esteem. Our one-night events are designed to offer both parents and teens valuable tools to support nourishment and well-being in a safe, compassionate environment.
This course is structured to give parents and teens the space to learn and grow separately but together. Parents will gain insights on how to support their teen in a way that encourages balanced eating without unintentionally fostering disordered eating behaviors. Teens will have the opportunity to learn about the science of nutrition, the importance of a full diet, and explore healthy body image in a positive and supportive setting.
This group Is Perfect For You If:
You're a parent looking to better understand how to support your teen with nourishment, while avoiding behaviors that could unintentionally encourage unhealthy eating patterns.
You're a teen who wants to understand the importance of a full diet and how nutrition affects your body and mind.
You’re interested in fostering a positive body image and creating a supportive environment for healthy self-esteem.
You’re looking for practical strategies and discussions that you can start using right away to improve your relationship with food and body image.
