Empowering You
on Your Journey to Recovery
At CEDAR Health, we understand that recovery from an eating disorder is a personal journey, and we’re here to help you reclaim your life. Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for adults is designed to provide the support, skills, and strategies you need to heal and thrive. We take a holistic approach to treatment, blending evidence-based therapies with creative and experiential modalities, all tailored to your unique needs. Our goal is to help you develop a balanced, sustainable relationship with food, your body, and yourself.
How Our IOP Supports Your Recovery
-
Therapy & Process Groups
In our therapy groups, we focus on helping you challenge food-related thoughts, build distress tolerance, and develop skills in emotional regulation and self-compassion. These groups create a space where you can connect with others who understand your journey.
-
Meal Support & Nutrition Education
With structured meal support sessions and exposure therapy, we help you face food-related fears while learning how to nourish your body. We also provide education on how food impacts mental and physical health, empowering you to make mindful, balanced choices.
-
Skill-Building & Psychoeducation
We focus on teaching you emotional regulation, coping strategies, and mindfulness techniques to help you navigate triggers and daily challenges. These skills are key to creating lasting change and supporting long-term recovery.
-
Experiential & Creative Modalities
Recovery can be a journey of self-expression and discovery. Through activities like yoga, art therapy, and group challenges, you’ll explore new ways of connecting with yourself and healing emotionally.
