CEDAR Health is seeking a Licensed Therapist to play an essential role in the treatment and recovery of individuals battling with various forms of disordered eating. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, your expertise in therapeutic techniques, compassionate treatment approach and understanding of eating disorder behavior will be instrumental in guiding patients towards recovery and improved mental health.
Responsibilities:
Assessment and Evaluation, includes reviewing psychological diagnostic testing
Emotional Support and Nutrition Counseling
Individual and Group Therapy
Family Therapy
Treatment Planning and monitoring
Work closely with multidisciplinary team
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation
Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and healthcare standards, including strict confidentiality
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field from accredited program.
Licensure: Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent in the state of Louisiana and willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
Required experience: 1+ year working directly with patients utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Preferred experience with pediatric patients and eating disorders. Experience with DBT and FBT. Must be willing to participate in mentorship with experienced eating disorder therapist.
Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. The ability to work effectively with diverse populations with a high level of empathy, professionalism, and compassion.
Full time or part time. Both in-person and telehealth services will be offered. Flexible hours may be required to accommodate schedules of patients and their families.

Develop and implement art-based therapeutic interventions
Promote mental health through art.
Individual and Group Therapy
Collaborative care with multidisciplinary team

Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and healthcare standards, including strict confidentiality.

Qualifications:
Education: Degree in Art Therapy or related field from accredited program.
Licensure: Registered and/or Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) in the state of Louisiana.
Experience: 1+ year experience in the field of art therapy preferred. Previous work experience with pediatric patients and/or eating disorders preferred. Open to candidates without eating disorder experience if they are willing to learn quickly about eating disorder care for outpatient services.
Skills: Strong understanding of the principles and practice of art therapy with recovery-oriented approaches with the ability to individualize interventions. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations with a high level of empathy, professionalism, and compassion in all levels of recovery.
Part time, in person position. Flexible hours may be required to accommodate schedules of patients and their families, including weekend group offerings.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, your expertise will be utilized to create personalized nutrition plans, provide compassionate nutrition counseling to support during the recovery journey, and collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
Assessment and Evaluation
Develop individualized meal plans and track progress
Individual and Group Nutrition Counseling
Address psychological, emotional, and behavioral aspects of disordered eating through nutrition interventions
Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Team
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation
Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and healthcare standards, including strict confidentiality
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education: A Bachelor of Science in Nutrition or related field from accredited program.
Licensing: Registered dietitian in Louisiana and a willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
Required Experience: 1+ year(s) as a dietitian
Preferred experience: Pediatrics.

CEDAR Health is seeking a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to play an essential role in the medical care and recovery of individuals with eating and feeding disorders. As a key member of our multidisciplinary outpatient team, your clinical expertise, collaborative approach, and compassionate care will support patients and families across the treatment process. Prior experience in eating disorder care is not required—training, mentorship, and support are provided.
Responsibilities:
Conduct outpatient medical evaluations and follow-up visits
Monitor medical stability, including vitals, labs, and overall health status
Provide medical education and guidance to patients and families
Collaborate closely with therapists, dietitians, and medical leadership as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team
Participate in treatment planning and care coordination as appropriate
Maintain accurate, timely, and HIPAA-compliant documentation in the electronic health record
Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and healthcare standards, including strict confidentiality
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education & Certification: Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant from an accredited program
Accepted Credentials: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Pediatric Nurse, Practitioner (PNP), Psychiatric, Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), Physician Assistant (PA)
Licensure: Must be licensed or license-eligible in the state of Louisiana
Experience: Outpatient clinical experience preferred but not required; Eating disorder experience not required; New graduates with strong interest and appropriate supervision needs will be considered
Skills: Strong clinical judgment and comfort in an outpatient setting
Interest in working with children, adolescents, and/or adults, clear, compassionate communication style, collaborative, team-oriented approach, willingness to learn and grow in eating disorder–informed care
