Founder & Medical Director
Dr. Andry is a board-certified pediatrician and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist with over a decade of experience caring for children, teens, and young adults. After years in pediatric hospital medicine and leading care at a national eating disorder center, she returned home to New Orleans to found CEDAR Health—Louisiana’s first outpatient eating disorder clinic led by a pediatrician. Her work is grounded in expert care, family-centered values, and profound compassion for every child’s unique journey.

Megan Edwards, SLP
Feeding Therapist
Megan is a Certified Speech‑Language Pathologist specializing in feeding therapy for children and adolescents. At CEDAR, she plays a key role in diagnosing and treating feeding challenges—from picky eating to swallowing difficulties—helping families build enjoyable, stress‑free mealtimes. With her expertise in speech and feeding disorders, Megan delivers compassionate, evidence‑informed care as part of our multidisciplinary team.

With a background in pediatric feeding and communication, she helps families feel informed, empowered, and at ease as they begin their care journey. Whether scheduling visits or answering questions, Allison ensures that every client feels seen, heard, and supported from day one.

Clinical Director
Melanie Danton is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor who believes in empowering individuals through understanding, self-awareness, and skill-building. She earned her master’s degree in Counseling from Louisiana State University and brings experience from outpatient, rehabilitation, and behavioral health settings. Melanie takes a compassionate, collaborative approach to care, supporting clients in building confidence and meaningful, lasting change.

Emily Pavel , LMSW
Contracted Therapist
Emily P. served as CEDAR Health’s Eating Disorder Therapy Consultant and Interim Clinical Director, bringing thoughtful leadership, clinical expertise, and compassion to both patients and providers. During her time with CEDAR, she led eating disorder therapy groups and supported teens and families through recovery with warmth and care. Emily is deeply committed to creating safe, supportive spaces and strengthening multidisciplinary, patient-centered treatment.

Hannah Smith, PLPC
Staff Therapist
Hannah Smith is a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor who earned her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Loyola University New Orleans. She has experience working with clients of all ages and supporting individuals facing a variety of concerns, including eating disorders, anxiety, depression, life transitions, emotional regulation, and self-esteem. She has a special interest in play therapy and has received specialized training in this approach, allowing her to incorporate developmentally appropriate, creative interventions when working with children. Hannah is passionate about providing a warm, collaborative, and compassionate therapeutic environment where clients feel supported in reaching their goals. She believes in tailoring treatment to meet each client's unique needs while fostering resilience, healing, and growth.

Magen Huntley is a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor having earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Loyola University New Orleans. Her experience includes trauma therapy and play therapy with individuals and groups across the lifespan.
